Osteoporosis: Gender-Specific Differences
Osteoporosis is a condition in the body where there is loss of strength of the bones and they become fragile, causing them to fracture or break much easier. Osteoporosis is typically a condition associated with older women; however, one of the risk factors for osteoporosis is lack of weight-bearing exercise. The best clinical diagnosis
for osteoporosis is x-ray and takes around 3-5 minutes to perform.
