Golf Swing Analysis

Jewish Hospital/St Mary's Healthcare offers a Golf Fitness Program to enhance overall fitness and address physical performance needs specifically designed for the game of golf.

The participant will learn about the “weak links” in their body that may be affecting their golf game. These may include flexibility, strength, balance or coordination deficits. A licensed Physical Therapist will evaluate each participant and discuss their findings related directly to the golf swing. For example: tightness in the hip may be preventing an affective take-away phase or decreased balance may be preventing the golfer from staying "on plane".

The deficits and/or restrictions in the participant's body may be preventing the most optimal golf swing. This program teaches the golfer how to reduce or eliminate their physical deficits and restrictions in order to improve their golf swing.
