Colon Cancer Screening

A colonoscopy is recommended every 10 years for men and women 50 years or older (45 years of age for African Americans). Contact your physician if you have a family history of colorectal cancer. You may need to have your screening colonoscopy earlier than age 50. Please call Jewish Cancer Services at 587-4108 or send an email to a Cancer Services Coordinator to schedule your Colonoscopy at a JHSMH facility. Colonoscopies can be performed at the following JHSMH facilities:
