Dear Neighbor
from Tom Gessel, CEO

One tragic fact of life is that far too many Americans die needlessly from treatable and curable diseases. Even with the best health care available in the world, many are not routinely tested for common diseases.

With the screening options now available, we can drastically reduce the number of deaths each year from breast, colon and prostate cancer, as well as a host of other chronic illnesses that are treated successfully if detected early.

That’s why we have included in this issue a “clip and save” summary of guidelines for routine health exams. Please do yourself and your family a favor and take these guidelines to heart, and ask your physician if you are up to date on all recommended screenings.
