Jewish Hospital Names Director of Med-Surg Nursing

LOUISVILLE, KY (March 31, 2009) – Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare (JHSMH) is pleased to announce that Michelle Gellhaus, RN, BSN, SPHR has been named director of Med-Surg Nursing for Jewish Hospital. Gellhaus will report to Cheryl Fugatte, vice president and chief nursing officer, JHSMH.

Gellhaus has been with the JHSMH organization for 11 years, most recently serving as a nurse manager at Jewish Hospital. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bellarmine University, and is expected to receive her Master’s in Business Administration from McKendree University in May.

Gellhaus resides with her husband, Gregg, in Louisville.
