Frazier Rehab’s Therapy Dog Celebrates Fifth Birthday

Doggie Bash is April 15

Who:               Frazier Rehab Institute’s facility dog, Madison, a golden retriever, will celebrate her fifth birthday during a doggie birthday party with her caregivers, patients and friends.

What:              The birthday party is for the resident therapy dog, Madison, who works five days a week, just like other team members of the Frazier Rehab therapy team.  She shares an office with the Therapeutic Recreation Department and works with trained clinical staff in their daily therapy sessions with patients. A ‘Facility Dog’ can often assist professionals in their work with individuals with disabilities because they can be beneficial to the healing process and improve the health, emotional well-being and overall quality of life.

When:             Wednesday, April 15 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Where:            Frazier Rehab Institute

                        220 Abraham Flexner Way

7th Floor Dinning Room
Other:             Presents are not necessary, but if you just can’t help yourself, bring soft, stuffed toy with squeakers or rope 'tug type' toys, doggie treats or a gift card to Feeder's Supply.
