Free Screenings for “Foot Drop” at Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital

WHO: Individuals suffering from “foot drop,” caused by certain medical conditions such as:
 Stroke
 Traumatic brain injury
 Multiple sclerosis
 Cerebral palsy
 Incomplete spinal cord injury
 Other neurological disorders of the central nervous system (e.g., Parkinson’s Disease)

WHAT: Physical Therapists and representatives from Bioness® will be at Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital (SIRH) conducting FREE screenings for potential outpatient users of the L300 Foot Drop System.  The advanced system is designed to use mild stimulation to lift your foot to help you walk more safely and easily. People who have foot drop because of certain medical conditions can qualify to use the lightweight device. The screenings at SIRH will identify eligible candidates to use the system.  For a screening time, call (812) 941-6134.
