Frazier Rehab Institute-Corydon now offers Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies

(Corydon, IN) The Frazier Rehab Institute-Corydon outpatient location has just added new services. The facility, which opened in May 2008, added occupational and speech therapies in addition to its physical therapy services.

“The Frazier-Corydon location has recently hired two additional therapists to their dedicated staff to accommodate the additional patients,” said Cathy Spalding, director. “This means that individuals with illnesses such as stroke will receive comprehensive rehab with a full multidisciplinary approach.”
In addition, therapists will provide treatment for children of all ages who may need sensory reintegration or rehab for developmental language, articulation and other voice disorders.

Occupational therapists are also available to provide treatment for fine motor disorders and rehab for orthopedic problems of the elbow, wrist and hand. Physical therapists also have a broad range of knowledge and experience to provide treatment for various other orthopedic injuries, difficulty with gait, and neurological deficits such as movement disorders, spinal cord injuries, and post-stroke rehab.

The facility, one of more than 20 in Kentucky and southern Indiana, is located at 313 North Federal Drive (Northfield Plaza) in Harrison County, Indiana and is the first Frazier Rehab facility in Corydon.

Frazier-Corydon also accepts Medicare insurance.
