Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare Names CEO of Jewish Physician Group
LOUISVILLE, KY (September 11, 2009) – Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare (JHSMH) is pleased to announce James Fitzpatrick, M.D., as CEO of the Jewish Physician Group (JPG).
Dr. Fitzpatrick joined JPG, then Caritas Physician Group, in 2005. He currently practices with Jefferson Medical Associates, and will continue to do so in conjunction with his new role.
Upon graduating from the University of Louisville School of Medicine after completing his Internal Medicine residency and a fellowship in Nephrology, Dr. Fitzpatrick completed an Endocrine fellowship at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Fitzpatrick currently serves as Chief Medical Officer for JPG, Chairman of the JPG Physician Council and is a member of the JPG Board of Directors.
Dr. Fitzpatrick resides with his wife, Alice, in Louisville. They have four children.
