Jesse Adams, M.D., Appointed President-Elect of Kentuckiana Metro Heart Association Board
LOUISVILLE, KY (September 17, 2009) – Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare (JHSMH) is pleased to announce Jesse Adams, M.D., with Medical Center Cardiologists, has been named president-elect of the Kentuckiana Metro Heart Association Board.
Dr. Adams will hold the position of president-elect for one year, and, beginning in July 2010, he will serve as president of the organization for two years. The association is the local chapter for the national organization, the American Heart Association.
Dr. Adams is a graduate of the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University and has been with Medical Center Cardiologists, part of the Jewish Physician Group, since 1995. He has served on the Jewish Hospital Heart and Lung Institute Board of Directors and has chaired the Education Committee. Dr. Adams currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Kentucky Chapter, American College of Cardiology, and has participated in numerous clinical trials with work published.
Dr. Adams resides with his wife, Kim, in Louisville. They have two children.
